NWPL's proprietary Proprioceptive Forefoot Extension -PFE™ improves sensory feedback. The PFE™ increases the duration and amount of pressure on the plantar aspect of the digits and therefore improves the sensing of both motion and position of the body.

Originally developed to specifically attend to all three planes of potential foot fault and imbalance, Pro Support Systems Custom Molded Orthosis (CMO) has evolved to meet some of the most demanding needs of professional athletes and patients.

The CMO is unique in offering true triplane balance with a dynamically moldable contoured foot bed, and supportive bracing to re-balance the foot and leg to the plane of support.

True to its name, the CMO is customized to your foot and provides you with a variety of optional enhancements such as Adult Robert's and Kirby Skive modifications, Morton's extensions, and bunion flanges.

High Risk and Special Considerations

For the insensitive, dysvascular, and diabetic foot types, we offer a Diabetic Molded Orthosis (DMO). This orthosis incorporates all of the balancing aspects of the CMO and AMO with special attention to the protectice/accomodative concerns of these high risk foot types, by incorporating special padding and top cover materials. For disruptive Charcot type foot deformities we can also incorporate special supportive bracing elements.

Digital and partial foot amputees deserve our Prosthetic Molded Orthosis (PMO). This device embodies full length splinting to overcome toebox curling in combination with more comfortably shaped prosthetic buildups. In addition to our soft stump interface material, we also incorporate a dynamic wedge within the build-up to further reduce stump pressure during gait.

Accommodative Molded Orthosis

In a restrictive shoe environment where less control is needed and maximum comfort is desired, the Accomodative Molded Orthosis (AMO) provides improved support and bracing of the foot through a flexible and adaptable molded orthosis without compromising the essential tri-plane balance that is the basis for our device.

As with the CMO, the AMO is fully customizable, allowing for modifications for all foot types to more comfortably fit within any type of shoe, including women's dress pumps, and men's dress oxfords.

The Richie Brace® is a custom ankle brace (ankle foot orthosis) designed to treat chronic conditions of the foot and ankle. Introduced to the medical community in 1996, The Richie Brace® has revolutionized the non-operative approach to the most challenging pathologies treated by the foot and ankle specialist.

With a contoured balanced orthotic footplate articulated to adjustable semi-rigid lower leg uprights, the Richie Brace® is ideally suited to stabilize rotational forces at the Midtarsal, Subtalar and Talo-Crural joints. Modifications and enhancements are available to add further restriction of motion in the sagittal, frontal or transverse plane.

The Richie Brace® is fabricated from an impression cast taken of the patient's foot and lower leg. It's lightweight, low-profile design is preferred by patients over traditional longer leg solid shell ankle foot orthoses.

Designed by an athletic trainer, the ProCare Kallassy Ankle Support provides excellent control and prevents the ankle from rolling over inside the shoe. This ankle support is ideal for athletes and active people who suffer from chronic ankle sprains and instabilities. In fact, this is the brace worn by many of the ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) players, including Michael Chang.

What makes is the Kallassy ankle support unique is the lateral straps that keep the ankle locked in a neutral position. These lateral straps are further secured in place with a partial figure-8 medial strap and a high ankle cuff closure that ensures the "lateral strap" stays in place.

The low profile design of this ankle support makes it easy to fit in any athletic or even dress shoe. Easy to apply, all you need to do is secure the velcro closures in the front. We find the front closure to work a little better than the slip-on design and it can be easily adjusted without removing the shoe. It's also faster to apply and more economical than constantly taping your ankle!

Constructed of a durable, ballistic nylon for long lasting wear. Nylon lined neoprene provides warmth and compression, yet allows for full dorsal and plantar flexion.
